1. Meeting began at 8:07 a.m. with a
quorum.
2. Ms.
Hutts made a motion to approve the minutes of the last meeting held on July 12,
2007, seconded by Mr. Six. The motion was unanimously accepted.
3. Mr. DiPilato introduced
the 5 new projects that have been included.
One of which is the Pima County Ice Skating Rink. Mr. Mike Boyd spoke in favor of the project.
He is working with the ice hockey and skating community and also a group which
is looking into this project. Mr.
Davidson suggested that this project be tabled and recommended to the Leased
Property subcommittee for their consideration. The other four projects were the
BMX Concrete Bowl Bike Park, which was also recommended to the Leased Property
subcommittee, the Rillito Indoor Sports Complex, the Kino Indoor Sports Complex
and the Kino Sports Field Lighting Project.
The subcommittee directed staff to consolidate both the indoor sports
complex projects.
4. Mr. Davidson asked for public comments about
projects prior to preliminary prioritization of projects in Tier 3:
