2.                  State Trust Land Reform (40 minutes)

Discussion with State Land Commissioner Mark Winkleman on possible recommendation to the Board of Supervisors concerning State Trust land reform.

 

3.                  Camino de Oeste Project Area (10 Minutes)

At the February 10 meeting, the Commission directed staff to begin due diligence for the parcels with asking prices near $6,500 or less and have staff provided the pros and cons of creating an inholding with regard to management costs.  Staff will report on these parcels and inholding issues.

 

4.                  Conservation Opportunities in Connection Analysis Areas (15 minutes)

Update on Avra/I-10 Connection.

6.                  Update on 1997/2004 Conservation Bond Program Expenditures to Date (5 minutes)

 

7.                  Applications for the Sale of Open Space (10 minutes)

A)     Habitat for Humanity – Parcels included in the 2004 Bond Ordinance in the City of Tucson’s Jurisdictional request for 36th St. Corridor.  Commissioners will receive materials and a staff recommendation.

B)     Nunez – Parcel included in the 2004 Bond Ordinance as secondary priority Habitat Protection Priorities, Southeast Corridor sub area.  Parcel in the same area as the Curtis Trust and Petrowski applications. Commissioners will receive materials and a staff recommendation.

C)    Madera Highlands – Parcels included in the 2004 Bond Ordinance as highest priority Habitat Protection Priorities, Altar Valley sub area.  Commissioners will receive materials and a staff recommendation.

·         Bar V Ranch (Commission recommended acquisition)

·         King98 (Commission recommended acquisition)

·         Rancho Seco (Commission recommended acquisition)

·         Poteet (Commission recommended due diligence)

·         Curtis/Petrowski and surrounding properties (Commission placed due diligence for the Curtis parcel on hold and placed the Petrowski application on hold until more is known about surrounding properties and the biological value of the parcels)

·         South Corridor project area – (Commission recommended securing contingent options on western parcels and Hiett and Heater properties)

·         Belvedere (Commission recommended due diligence)

·         Green Valley Hills

·         Proposed Development Activities on Bond Parcels
