Pima
County Bond Programs
Approved by Voters in 1997, 2004 and 2006
The
Pima County Board of Supervisors adopted
Chapter 3.06 of the County Code,
titled “Bond Disclosure, Accountability
and Implementation.” The so-called “Truth
In Bonding” code
commits Pima County to full transparency
in voter approved bond programs
from May 20, 1997, November 4,
1997, May 18,
2004, and May 16, 2006. This web
page is one of the strategies
Pima County will utilize in meeting
its self-imposed
rules of transparency. At this site you
will find:
A. Bond Implementation Plan ordinances
from the three previous bond elections.
B.
Full and detailed reports on all changes
to the bond ordinances.
C. Semi-annual Bond Status Reports on all projects, as well as financial
status reports.
D. Information regarding citizen oversight
committees including: the Pima County
Bond Advisory Committee, Conservation
Acquisition Commission, Davis Monthan Open
Space Advisory Committee, Neighborhood
Reinvestment Committee, and the Pima County
Housing Commission.
E. All correspondence germane to implementations of the three bond
programs.
F. An e-mail link directly to County staff allowing you to comment
or ask questions on any aspect of the County bond programs.
